Weekly earnings goal planner
For Uber, Lyft, DoorDash, Instacart, Grubhub, Spark and any other rideshare or delivery app. Enter your weekly goal and your average earnings per hour to see how many hours you need to drive.
General information, not tax advice.
How it works
Hours needed is your goal divided by your average hourly earnings. Dividing that by the days you plan to drive gives hours per day.
Example: a $900 weekly goal at $20 per hour takes 45 hours a week, or 9 hours a day over five days.
Frequently asked questions
Which hourly rate should I use?
Use your net rate after fuel and vehicle costs, so the goal is money you keep. The hourly earnings calculator shows both gross and net.
Is my goal gross or net?
It is whatever kind of hourly rate you enter. Use net hourly pay for a take-home goal, and remember that taxes come out of net profit.
Will I always earn my average rate?
No. Earnings change with time of day, demand and surges. Plan on your average, and treat busy periods as the way to shorten your week.
